Benefits of Our Base Blend Formula
Shea Butter
African healers have known about shea butter for thousands of years. It is almost magical in its healing effects on minor burns, stretch marks, skin conditions, diaper rash, ulcerated skin, chapped skin from cold weather, rash, insect bites and dry/rough skin.
Shea butter contains beneficial vegetable fats and vitamins (A, E, and F) that promote cell regeneration and circulation, making it a wonderful healer and rejuvenator for troubled or aging skin. It also contains natural sun-protectants.
Almond Oil
Not only does almond oil help protect the surface of the skin, but has great value to act as an emollient, skin soother and softener while conditioning the skin and promoting a clear young looking complexion.
Almond oil is suitable for all skin types but is especially good for dry or irritated skin.
Jojoba Oil
Natural jojoba oil serves as an excellent moisturizing agent with exceptional spread and lubrication properties and leaves a rich velvety non-oily feel on the skin while retarding water loss and enhancing the flexibility and suppleness of the skin.
Grape Seed Oil
Grape seed oil has mildly astringent qualities that help to tighten and tone the skin, which makes it useful for acne and other skin complaints. It is rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid quite important for the skin and the cell membranes.
Grape seed oil has regenerative and restructuring virtues and has great skin moisturizing properties.
Coconut Oil
The small molecular structure of coconut oil allows for easy absorption through the skin, giving it a soft, smooth texture. It makes an ideal ointment for the relief of dry, rough and wrinkled skin. Psoriasis and eczema suffers often see great improvements in these distressing conditions.
Coconut oil will not only bring temporary relief to the skin, but it will aid in healing and repairing. It will have lasting benefits, unlike most lotions. It can help bring back a youthful appearance. The coconut oil will aid in removing the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smoother. The skin will become more evenly textured with a healthy "shine". While doing this, the coconut oil will penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and strengthen the underlying tissues.
